A band brings an energetic, dynamic performance with live vocals and instruments, creating a concert-like experience for your guests. Bands often take breaks during the performance sets. On the other hand, a DJ offers a broader song selection, seamless transitions, and often a more budget-friendly option with no breaks in performance sets. Your choice will depends on your music preferences, venue space, and wedding vibe. As an option, you can consider both: Hire a live band or musician for a relaxing atmosphere at the cocktail hour and a DJ to play all of your must-have wedding songs at the reception.
I will be personally working with you from the very start and will be the person present at the event to make sure everything is absolutely flawless. No sub-contracting or pulling a last minute switch. Simply honest and straightforward.
My style, while DJing, is to play music in a seamless way, so each song is beat-matched and seamlessly blended from one to the other. I have found this to be the key in keeping the guests dancing and having fun all night long. Most DJs don't do this and there is a gap between their songs.
